Align Architecture joins the prestigious Structural Timber Association Membership

12.07.18 Align Life

Building offsite solutions in timber are gaining traction across the UK, and as a forward-thinking team of chartered RIBA architects, it is important that we keep up with the latest industry trends and developments.

Over the years, we have built our enviable reputation by completing client projects using an effective combination of innovation and industry knowledge – delivering solutions that exceed client expectations while preserving environmental resources.

Critical to the ongoing success of our business, is the commitment that we show to improving existing services – researching and identifying groups or communities that will allow us to expand our current service offering.

That is why we are proud to announce our official associate membership with the prestigious Structural Timber Association – a highly influential organisation that drives product innovation through technical guidance and research, underpinned by a members’ quality standard assessment.

Also known as STA Assure, this assessment offers reassurances to the construction community that all members meet or exceed current legislation and regulatory requirements, which stands testament to our position as one of the UK’s leading architectural practices.

For procuring clients, it is no longer enough to simply claim you can deliver great results, instead you must be able to back this up with case studies and assurance from independent bodies like the Structural Timber Association.

STA membership will give us a certain credibility within our highly competitive industry and provide a number of exclusive benefits that will give us a definite advantage over our competitors.

For example, the STA Assure Membership and Quality Standards Scheme is recognised by six of the industry’s leading structural warranty and building control bodies – LABC Warranty, Premier Guarantee, Protek Warranty, Build-Zone, Self-Build Zone and CRL.

Not only is the STA a recognised organisation, but it is also a leading provider of technical research and industry insight, ensuring members have technical insight and industry intelligence to compete against other methods of construction.

This access and availability to insightful information will allow us to develop our service offering further, shaping our approach in order to improve client retention and secure new business.

We have been very fortunate to secure membership during a period of growth and expansion at the STA, as more companies realise the power of being part of an association that provides the industry with an authoritative voice, capable of influencing legislation.

It’s the start of an exciting new chapter for Align Architecture and another statement of intent that we’re serious about development and helping our clients achieve more.
